Our classes blend professional technical dance instruction with a commitment to fostering the personal growth and confidence of each dancer, welcoming all to explore their potential. By creating a safe and inclusive space that appreciates all dancers as they are, we have created a thriving community of students and instructors passionate about the power of movement to connect with the self and navigate the world with a confident and joyful spirit.
We strive to nurture and develop talent, celebrate the achievements of all students and inspire a love and appreciation of all styles of dance and the arts. We are committed to providing a safe and positive environment in which all students can feel empowered, comfortable and free to express themselves.
For early childhood to preschool, our core classes are Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet. We recommend these students start with one class per week. Depending on skill and maturity we may recommend adding an additional class. For this age group, their attention span may be shorter than the class length so it’s okay if they are not attentive for the entire class time.
For school age to adolescence, our core classes are Foundations of Dance and Elements of Dance. In order to really see growth in your dancer, we recommend taking at least 2 classes per week. For this age group, attention span is an indicator of their interest and whether they want to continue classes.
Elements and Fundamentals of dance class includes the structure and etiquette of dance classes at the studio. We will incorporate all styles of dance, with a primary focus on proper alignment and core technique. Providing the basic fundamentals of classical and contemporary Ballet technique along with the different body isolations and personal style of Jazz. Dancers will learn terminology and master choreography based on the learned skills and techniques.
