Annual Recital 2023: Our Empower Experience

It is with great pleasure to welcome your participation in this season’s annual recital performance. We strive to  produce a recital that is a glimpse of what our dancers have learned throughout the year and an opportunity for you to join them in their accomplishments. This packet of information serves as an important communication with parents. We appreciate the opportunity to share this special event with you and your family.

Get ready to immerse yourself into the Empower Experience! Since 2017, we at Empower have cultivated an experience like no other. The Empower Experience uplifts, nurtures, a new generation of dancers who are not only in tune with their body, but in tune with community and nature. Catch a glimpse inside the magic of movement.

Sponsored by the Empower Dance Foundation, Empower Dance Studio’s annual spring recital, “The Empower Experience,” will be held on Sunday, June 4th at 4:15pm at The Carolina Theater of Durham. The spring recital serves as a major fundraising event with the goal of providing scholarships to any aspiring dancer who otherwise would not be able to experience the joy of dance.

This performance in Fletcher Hall is made possible in part by a grant from the Durham Arts Council’s Fletcher Performing Arts Fund of the Triangle Community Foundation.
